Selecting the matches to play on Dream11.

After creating the account on Dream11, now you have to select the match you want to play there. Dream11 includes various sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, etc and according to your expertise and knowledge, you have to select the matches you want to play.

Then click on that particular match you want to play and the next step is creating the team.

Creating a team of the selected match.

Now, you have to create the team for that particular match. For creating a team you first have to click on create team option.

Then You have to select the players you want in your team like batters, bowlers, all-rounders, wicketkeepers in cricket or defenders, mid-fielders, forwards and goalkeepers in football.

After choosing the 11 players or the minimum required players like 8 in the case of basketball, you have to click on the next option and choose your captain and vice-captain.

Captain means that particular player you think can grab the maximum points in your team and the vice-captain means that particular player you think can grab the 2nd most points after the captain.

Captain points are doubled which means (2×) like if he/she gives you 50 points then by making him/her captain you get 100 points and in the case of Vice-captain you will get (1.5×) points which means if a player grabs 50 points then if that one is your vice-captain then you will get 75 points.

After choosing the captain and vice-captain you have to save the team.

After that in the My team section, You can watch your team and can edit your team too by clicking on this pencil-like option.

Now that the team creation process is completed and now you have to compete with other users which means you have to join the contest now.

Joining Contest in Dream11.

Now after creating the team next step is to join a contest.

To join the contest firstly you need to click on the entry fees like 17 in the above image and then you have to click on the join contest option in the next image as shown and then you can see the joined contest in my contest section.

There are various contests in dream11 basically small-league and grand league.

Small league means a contest where the number of users competing against each other are less and the last man standing will get the reward which means the one who has the most points will win the entire money.

The contests are 2 members contest (H2H), 3 members contest (H3H), and 4 members contest (H4H).

Grand league means that kind of league in which the entry fee is generally less but the winning amount is very huge and Users competing against each other are also very huge.

For example – In this particular grand league, the Right side shows the entry fee which is 49 rupees, and below that we can see the total no. Of users competing in contests are 62,58,503. On the left side, we can see the prize pool which is 23 crore which means 23 crore rupees will be distributed in total to the winners, and below that shows 1st prize which means The one user who will top this league will get 1 crore rupees. 67% shows that the winning percentage in this contest is 67 which means if 100 users are playing then 67 will win money in this contest.
